Meal Reimbursement Rates for Licensed Child Care Providers
Licensed child care providers are eligible for reimbursement for meal and snack reimbursements through vendors contracted by the Missouri Department of Health Bureau of Nutrition and Child Care. For more information contact: 1-800-733-6251.
For home and group home licensed units, the rates differ depending upon the location of the home or group home child care. For those located in school districts that have an elementary school with 50% or higher free or reduced lunches, the reimbursement rate for meals is substantially higher. (At the end of this page is the income eligibility criterion).

Center-Based
Center-based are eligible for higher rates for those families in which the parent or
guardian submits a need eligibility form for free and reduced meals/snacks. Rates
are based upon the number qualifying for free meals, reduced meal costs or not eligible
(paid) for free or reduced meals.

INCOME ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Income is before deductions for income taxes, employee's social security taxes, insurance premiums, charitable contributions. It includes monetary compensation for services, income from non-farm self-employment, income from farm self-employment, social security, dividends or interest, net rental income, public assistance, unemployment compensation, retirement or pension, annuities, alimony or child support, contributions from people not living in household, net royalties, other cash income.
