PURPOSE: To treat emotional problems so there is no need for hospitalization,
to promote good mental health, and to provide community based help/support
SERVICES RENDERED: After hours crisis phone line, individual, couple, and f
amily therapy, case management, comprehensive psychiatric rehabilitation
programs and medication consultations. The Counseling Center is a member of
the University Health Sciences Center Network and is sponsored locally by the
Cooper County Mental Health Association.
PERSONS SERVED: All ages. Priority populations include chronically mentally ill,
seriously emotionally disturbed children, and those in crisis.
AREA SERVED: Cooper County.
FEES: Sliding scale offered, but proof of income required. . No one is refused services
due to inability to pay, or by race, creed, or national origin.
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
