Welcome to the Cooper County 911 Center's Website. We serve as a link between the citizens and the public safety agencies. Enhanced 911 was introduced in Cooper County in April of 1994. The Cooper County Commissioners assigned responsibility for design, development, and implementation to the Cooper County 911 Board. A full time Director was hired in March of 1996 to oversee the system. The 911 Center became operational on July 2, 1999.
The Center is coordinated by a Director, Asst. Director, 3 Supervisors (Dayshift, Evening, Midnight), 7 Operators, and a Operation Officer.
Our center dispatch and provides the citizens of Cooper County with the quickest possible response to any kind of emergency.
Requests for emergency services include law enforcement, fire suppression and emergency medical services, are received at one central location. Those requests, create an incident and the appropriated agency is dispatch.
