spirit of Missouri's frontier years lingers in this quiet, historic
village. State-restored buildings in Arrow Rock include a one-room jail,
the old courthouse, the home of artist George Caleb Bingham, and the Old
Tavern where visitors can dine in an 1800's atmosphere. Guided tours of
these and other historic buildings are available through the Friends of
Arrow Rock (see Tours).
A visitor center with exhibits, hiking trails, fishing, and a campground are available at the 167-acre site.
