The frame residence was built in the late 1800’s by George Roeder.  The addition of siding obscures much of the Queen Anne detailing, however the ornate Eastlake porch motifs and the irregular massing and elevation reflect the style.  To the northwest is a two-story projecting rectangular bay with a one-story polygonal bay which is capped by a pediment.  On the northeast is a one-story porch which has a pediment over the entrance.  The entrance has a transom.  To the south is a board and batten outbuilding which is attached to the main structure by a pent roof.
