716 E. Spring
The house was built for a Mr. Smith in the 1870s. At one time it served as both a residence and doctors office, later being used as apartments. The southwest addition was added about 1960. The structure has a projecting rectangular bay to the northwest and a porch on the northeast. The present porch is a later addition and has a concrete floor, wrought iron columns and a balustrade along the second story level. Some windows have what appear to be original interior shutters. A chimney is to the west on the later addition. There are no outbuildings.
