723 E. Morgan

This structure is a classic example of the Bungalow style, both in its exterior and interior motifs.  It was built by J. Hirsch, Sr. a wholesale merchant of the Hirsch Wholesale Grocery Co. in about 1920.  A concrete porch with square brick columns extends across the south.  Two entrances on the south include double French doors with 8 panels of beveled glass each.  An enclosed sun porch is to the east and sits atop the single car garage, which is a drive-thru type with access from both Morgan and 8th Sts.

On the east is a rectangular projecting bay and an end chimney with small flanking windows.   There are no outbuildings.
