          The brick residence was built between 1865 and 1869.  It has a frame cornice with brackets and returns.  There are end chimneys east and west.  There is a one-story gabled brick ell on the eastbay, north façade.  It is four bays deep.  A gable roofed dormer with a parapet front is on the west side of this ell.  The inset primary entrance has a frame surround.   Over the entrance on the second story is a small window which has a frame and wrought iron balcony.  There is a molded concrete block porch with wrought iron railing across this south façade.  The outbuilding is at the rear of the property along the north alley.  It has a gable roof, is stuccoed and has a garage door to the north.
