October 19, 2001 Board Meeting Minutes
Attending: JoAnn Sullivan, Darin Starr, Bill Wood, Tom White, Pete Rodman, David Haun, Maryann
Meeting called to order by Chair JoAnn Sullivan
Darin presented the Treasurer’s report. Checking account balance is currently $816.97. Moved by Tom to accept Treasurers report, motion was 2nd and passed.
JoAnn led a discussion on our next webpage contest. Motion was made by David to authorize the purchasing of materials for mailing information on the contest to businesses and schools. Motion was 2nd and passed.
It was discussed that Don Hutcuns could be a contact person for validating and updating information about Howard County for Mo-River.net.
Tom reported that he had talked with Harry Stone recently about using the conference room at Rankin Mills Apartments. This could be a location that is more easy accessed. After a drief discussion, Tom moved that we have our next meeting at the Rankin Mills Conference Room. Motion was 2nd and passed.
Rankin Mills Apartments is located in the southern part of Boonville on Hwy 5 behind the new Sonic drive-in restaurant.
Tom moved that at our November meeting that the board review the organizations by-laws. Motion was 2nd and passed.
In other business, Tom announced that there would be a joint public presentation by the Cooper County EMA and Health Department regarding Currents Events and Health Concerns. This will be on Thursday October 25.
Darin also announced that he will be teaching a class on WebPage Design in Marshall starting November 9.
Darin moved that the meeting adjourn. Motion 2nd and passed.
