Board Members Attending: David Haun – Vice Chair, Darin Starr – Secretary/Treasurer, Harry Stone, Art Schneider.
Meeting called to order by V Chair David Haun at 10:30 a.m.
Treasurer’s report was presented by Darin Starr. Check book balance is $3,402.86. there is also a payroll liability of $127.58 for payroll taxes for a funds available balance of $3275.28. Art moved to accept Treasurer’s report, David seconded, motion passed.
Tourism Grant: Amanda is still working on 25 pages for tour. Darin is working on map for driving tour. Amanda is contacting local businesses to put our logo on their homepage.
Web Contest: Art has received two entries for school in Pilot Grove.
Art moved to table doing radio ads until we can better project future expenses for payroll tax and web contest. Darin seconded, motion passed.
Ginger with Work Investment Act will have 1 youth in Cooper and 1 youth in Howard county to work 160 hours each. Would like for these youth to assist Mo-River.net. What she will need is a plan of work with job goals. Both youths are able to enter data into a computer. Art asked if information from Saline County Chamber and Historical Society to be entered. Darin Agreed to work with the Chamber office and Historical Society to get the information and send it to the Cooper County Extension Office. Art will work with Georgette in Howard County.
Boonville Chamber dues are due. Darin will check with Chamber office for correct amount that is due and present at next meeting.
