Membership – None
Report on Tourism Grant – Amanda has completed 25 Historic sites. The rest of the calendar/cards are at the Boonville Daily News for cutting. Discussed the possibility of next year’s grant to map all of the National Register of Historic Places in Boonville. Darin Starr will explore the possibilities.
Web Contest – There was only one entry, so it wins First Place and Best of Show. After discussion, it was decided NOT to have a web contest for next year.
Summer Interns – Harry called Ginger Wenger for suggestions and standards
New Business
Other – Art raised the issue of needing some new Board Members. JoAnn said she talks to nearly everyone she encounters about working on our board, and especially anyone from Howard or Saline Counties.
Bill Sullivan brought up the need to have an accessible and accurate Community Calendar. Our current one is not being utilized, although Harry is faithful to up-date it whenever he receives notification of events.
JoAnn gave a brief report on how and what Mo-River.net did to help with the Alicya Meyer fundraiser.
