Secretary’s Report: Accepted as presented

Treasurer’s Report: Accepted as presented. JoAnn related adventures in getting our
                                   bank account transferred from Marshall to Boonville.

JoAnn introduced and welcomed Don Stevens to our meeting. Art briefly explained some of Mo-River.net

Old Business

Tourism Grant Update – Art explained that Amy is finishing up. She has used 43 hours since last month.
                                         Our reports will be due to the Tourism Commission and to the City in the near future.

Downtown Art Project – Art explained that the project is going very well. Due to potential matching funds
                                         from Isle of Capri, $5000 is needed very soon.

Membership – Nothing new this month. Still need volunteers and board members.

New Business - Still need to work on long-range planning. Due to lack of up-keep capability, there was some discussion of dropping Howard and Saline Counties from Mo-River.net. Harry Stone reported that Nancy Hendricks will join after September. David Haun will continue checking MRN links to insure all are working O.K. Bill Sullivan stated need to keep seeking corporate sponsors. Art Schneider is still looking for grants.
