Board members attending: JoAnn Sullivan, presiding, Harry Stone, Bill Sullivan

Visitors: Barbara Stevens and Bonnie Canida

Secretary’s Report: Accepted as presented.

Treasurer’s Report: Filed for reference as presented.

Old Business

Tourism Grant: We have received the Tourism Grant money ($753.55), which is for 100 hours of work, plus employer tax contributions. Amanda will start soon working in the Extension Office and start putting up more of the 400+ properties on the National Register of Historic Places. She plans to activate a new and separate email address.

Computer Club: Harry Stone, Bill Sullivan, Pete Rodman, Barbara & Don Stevens, Bonnie Canida – and maybe some others, met at the Boonslick Senior Center to help get the new Computer Club get started. There were at least 15, possibly more, seniors wanting to learn how to use computers. The Senior Center staff are setting up classes and Mo-River.net members (and others) will be available as instructors. The 3rd Thursday evening of each month will be set aside for new attendees and regular class. JoAnn will get with the Boonville Daily News and Bill will contact KWRT to generate some publicity for the classes.

Membership: We have one new member! Bonnie Canida joined today. Of course, we need many, many more.

Corporate Sponsor Renewals: Due to recent health problems, now solved, Secretary has not sent renewal notices to our Corporate Sponsors. Bill will start sending those letters now. We will also re-start solicitation of new Corporate Sponsors.

Webmasters: MRN needs more webmasters. At present, there are only four or five people maintaining our site. Bonnie is going to do up the Lewis & Clark bibliography and Barbara Stevens also said she would start helping.

New Business:

JoAnn has made a web page for Boonville area Lewis & Clark bicentennial activities. It is intended to include not only activities, but also memorabilia, nearby attractions, and other items of Lewis & Clark interests.

JoAnn is also in the process of reorganizing the History page. Right now, she is having difficulty with "Front Page", but expects to be okay shortly.

Friends of Historic Boonville: The Friends had asked for a new web page and JoAnn has suggested we just put them up on MRN, and is in the process of getting that done.

Harry said he believes that Undata never has changed his email address on the Event Calendar and that may be the reason no information is reaching him for the calendar. JoAnn said she would try to contact Mark or Theresa to see if we could get that problem cleared up.

No further business appearing, meeting was adjourned.
