Board members attending: JoAnn Sullivan, presiding, Harry Stone, Bill Sullivan, David Haun, Art Schneider, Don Stevens. Visitors: Bonnie Canida

Secretary’s Report: Accepted as presented.

Treasurer’s Report: Filed for reference as presented.

Old Business

Tourism Grant: Amanda will start on the 1st of March, working in the Extension Office and start putting up more of the 400+ properties on the National Register of Historic Places. Office already has 60 addresses, but will need pictures.

Corporate Sponsors: Bill Sullivan read the solicitation letter being sent out to potential new corporate sponsors. He also raised the issue of the need for MRN to develop a business plan. We need to be able to show potential donors both why we need their donation, and what we will do with it should they choose to donate. Bill Sullivan will approach Dave Miller for assistance. Don Stevens said he has an extensive background in this area and will gladly help.

Membership: The Board welcomed Bonnie Canida back again. After some discussion, and gentle persuasion, Bonnie was elected to the MRN Board of Directors.

Lewis & Clark celebration: JoAnn has put a Lewis & Clark heading and link on the MRN Home Page. She will list, and/or link all Lewis & Clark activities, memorabilia, books, accommodations, etc.

Other old business: Since we have been unable to make it work properly, the current version of the "Event Calendar" will be removed from the front page. We have received inquiries about a Search feature for MRN. We will not act on that now.

New Business:

Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce dues are due. Bill Sullivan moved and Art 2d motion to pay the dues. Motion carried.

JoAnn has reactivated the "Voting" link on MRN Home Page, and also put up a generic Democratic Party page. She will also put up a Republican page, and/or other political organizations when she gets information for it/them.

No further business appearing, meeting was adjourned.

Minutes recorded and transcribed by Bill Sullivan, Secretary
