JoAnn and Art asked Darlene to give the board a report on her experience so far with the Dream Weaver software. Specifically, we wanted to know how compatible Dream Weaver was with Front Page. It appears that we could put stuff on MRN with either software, but probably cannot cross edit. MRN could look much more modern, have drop-down menus and other features using Dream Weaver, but we might not be able to edit it with Front Page. Darlene hasn’t put anything on the server yet, but she will continue working on it.
OLD BUSINESS: (1) Copyright policy is still where it was. JoAnn has not been able to talk to Scott Jackson, but is still trying. (2) Stipend Volunteer: Margie has turned in 15 hours so far. (3) Key Words and/or Tabs. Using Dream Weaver, we could put Tabs on the several pages of MRN, or we can use Key Words such as Boonville, Historic, Homes, Tourism, etc. to attract search engines to our site.

NEW BUSINESS: Grants: We got several, including an Intern. Margie is working on a page for the Domestic Violence
New Correspondence: Cindy McDonnie asked to be linked to MRN. Ed Scrivner wants the River Rats group on MRN. CCBC has up-dated much of their site. Someone had contacted JoAnn, upset that City officials were not listed on the Boonville site. They were looking at MRN and not the city page!
